It’s been a while since I updated you on this piece. The large vase in the center is finished, background is progressing and I’ve started the third corner flower. I hope this have this completed in a few weeks now.
Everything is looking great right now. I’ll finish the third flower tonight and work on the background a little. I’ll do the last flower next week and then see how long it takes to complete the background.
I love the softer colours you are using and the texture of the background stitch. This is looking really good.

I’ll add my 2$…I too think the background just pops this. Is that the “t” stitch?
It’s making great progress compared with last time, and the background stitch makes just enough contrast with the motifs!
I concur with the previous commenters…the textural background stitch is a wonderful foil for the tent/basketweave stitched vase and flowers. I love seeing the progress you are making on all your WIPs!
