Things have finally started moving along nicely. I finished the first mosque, domed roof and all.
Yesterday I started working on the smaller buildings to the right of the mosque. It doesn’t look like much yet, but it will get better.
There is only one arched doorway right now, but there will be 4 on each side of the mosque eventually. They also will have sparkly rooftops. I hope to have the first 4 doorways done tomorrow and then I can start to fill them in.

That is so intricate, Jan. I love how the reflecting pool of light blue in front of the mosque gives perspective and depth. The goldwork is quite beautiful.
