Stars of the New Millennium – Deborah Kerr

Starting the bottom half of this piece is the square named Deborah Kerr. The light green center was a strange stitch but it looks very nice now that it’s completed. The U-shaped sections involved many layers and was very time-consuming. I was glad when it was completed.

The rest of the square wasn’t as complicated. I really like the various shades of rust and how they look in this square.

Don’t forget to check out Liz’s blog to see how her version is developing too. I’m really like her softer version of this piece – and she the first person I’ve seen use metallics in the piece as well. That makes her version very unique!  Here’s how my version looks so far:

  1. Tony links the “stars” – like Clark Gable is next to Vivien Leigh because they were in Gone with the Wind together and he’s next to Marilyn Monroe because they were in The Misfits. It’s kind of like six degrees of separation.
