Elephant – Progress 10

It’s been a month since I posted last, so it’s time to show you how the elephant looks today.

He’s a fine fellow, isn’t he? I’ve finished the background motif on the right side of the elephant as well. There’s about 1.75″ to do below the rust leaves on the left and then the very large chart I’ve been working from will be done. Then I can get out the smaller chart to finish off the entire design. The elephant does need the bottom of his trunk and his legs after all. That means I have 4″ of stitching left to do on this piece. Yeah!! Beside finishing the elephant, there is an African mask to stitch on the left side and a silhouette of an elephant and tree on the right. Let’s see if I can finish this by the end of the month.
