Jim Wurth’s Peace Tree – Progress 1

This was the December ornament when the dodecagons were a series. This will be #10 in the series for me to stitch.

The border was stitched with red Grandeur. The Peach symbol was created in red Very Velvet.

Then the Peace Symbol was outlined with Antique Copper Gold Kreinik, then wrapped with gold Kreinik. The space between the velvet lines was also stitched in Antique Copper Gold Kreinik.

Now it’s time to get started on the rest of the design. (The green in the bottom corner is not part of the design. I must have had something green under the canvas when I took the photo). I’ll be filling in the two small diamonds at the bottom next.
