Fall Quilt – Progress 4

We’re dealing with a pet crisis this week and we’re not getting much of anything else done right now. But I have managed to stitch on the quilt for about an hour each evening. Here it is today:

Fall quilt-4

I’ll finish the last leaf tonight. I wanted photos of each step in creating the leaf for the instructions, so I’ll do the last few steps tonight, taking a photo after each step. Filling in the Slanted Gobelin stitch around the finished leaves is an easy task while we’re watching TV in the evenings.

If things improve here, I’m hoping to have this done by the end of next week. But no promises.

Our priority is Julius right now and we’re waiting for results of a biopsy – yes, we think it’s cancer but we’re hoping it’s something else that can be dealt with easily. He’s a large orange and white, adorable cat and only 8 years old.
