Cross Stitch Update – March 2018

Only worked on two projects over the last month. The first is Norfolk Diligence Sampler where I completed another page and only have 1 more page to go. I need to add my name on the top half of the center octagon and then stitch the last two octagons facing them in the opposite direction. I will get this done this year! It’s taking me forever.

The other project is the stocking for Emmi, who is one month old now.

This is the stocking that I am making for her. I started in the middle of the stocking and I’m working my way down the left side to do the little stocking. Then I can do the bear on the right side. Here is where I am today:

While you are reading this, I’m visiting my new little granddaughter. I hope I get to spend a lot of time cuddling her. Also want a bunch of photos to bring home with me. I wish they lived closer so I could see her more often.

When I get home, another event is happening. Just two days later my DH is having a knee replacement. So it’s going to be a busy month. Not sure if any stitching will get done this month. We’ll see.

  1. Beloved is the survivor of four hip replacements and many of his hospital roommates are knee replacement folk. They all say that the pain after the surgery is much less than the pain before. Tell him to do his rehab faithfully and be good to yourself. It’s hard being the Designated Adult!

  2. NDS sure is taking some time, but by the looks of it will be so worth it! Great start on the stocking, that little fox is just so cute. I hope you will make it through the busy month okay and have some time to relax afterwards 🙂
